Artist's Comments
This was an experiment to see how well I could fit together my 2D digital art and 3D character work in an illustration (character, signpost and mushrooms were modelled and textured in 3DS Max, backdrop painted in Corel Painter, with compositing in Photoshop). It is something I've been wanting to do for some time, and was pleased with how well the process worked. The only problem is that I have no idea what category to put these pieces in!
That, for those familiar with him, is Roddy the Ferret, though he seems to have changed outfits in the modelling process... |
